New Antenna for Indoor Listening

My next project is to install a wire antenna in my attic for indoor listening. It will be run to our spare bedroom that has become my indoor listening post. I tried listening in the dinning room at a desk but found there to be to much noise. I checked Radio Shack for some items to built my own but they didn't have most items I need. I settled on this kit from Ebay for $21.94 including shipping.
