Follow Up - Venturing into SDR

As a follow up to my SDR purchase I was able to get it going fairly easily. I understand why people like them as they have some cool features. Myself, I prefer a standard radio. Something about tuning the knobs and moving around with ease appeals to me. As expected the performance is not nearly as good as my radios but what can I expect for $30.

Up next, a Lafayette HA-600A is given to me and as I have heard it described, it is a boat anchor.
